West Indies rugby bandwagon rolls into the UK today.

The Island pair are part of the squad which is taking part in the World Sevens Series in England this weekend and Wales the weekend after.

The West Indies face mighty England in their opening match tomorrow at The Stoop Memorial Ground, before tackling Samoa and Wales.

On Monday play moves to Twickenham -- arguably the most famous rugby venue in the world -- when matches will conclude in the Bowl, Plate and Cup competitions.

Bermuda's Bobby Hurdle and Jon Cassidy, who represented the West Indies at the recent Hong Kong Sevens tournament , missed out on the trip because of personal and work commitments.

However, fellow Hong Kong veteran McGavern had no such problems and is expected to be an integral part of the side, with Browne's involvement likely to increase as the games progress.

Speaking from their base near London, Niall Brooks, manager of the side, said: "Danny is a very strong player and I would think he will be one of the core members of the team and will definitely be in the starting line-up.'' As for Browne, he said: "We had a very good training session yesterday and played a game against Georgia as well and Nathan didn't let anything go to his head at all.

"He actually had a very good run out and showed some very good athletic skills and commitment as well ... He should make the starting 10, certainly the 12, and I think he will actually be brought on as the tournament goes on.'' Brooks said he was under no illusions as to the scale of the task, but hoped the side would open a few eyes.

"Noone is saying we are out to win the tournament. The ultimate achievement will be to get respect for West Indies rugby and certainly compete,'' he said.

"There is no reason why we can't do that against the likes of Russia, Spain and Portugal, if you like, the second tier behind the Australians, the New Zealanders and the Fijians.''
