Annual Kitty Michael International Invitational Tournament in Naples, Florida.

The 10-member contingent will compete against rival female teams from New Jersey, Puerto Rico, Canada, the Caribbean and the host state over six days at the luxurious Naples Golf and Beach Club.

Shirley James will captain the Bermuda outfit which also includes Susan Holland, Katrin Burnie, Valerie Nearon, Bea Williams, Pat Morgan, Gilda Furbert, Katyna Rabain, Ann Symonds and Ann Mailer.

A Bermuda team has been competing in the Kitty Michael tournament for more than 20 years, with the Island team having previously won both net and gross divisions and local players having also collected individual honours.

The tournament takes place at a different venue each year.

The team fly out today for the annual Kitty Michaels Invitational tournament in Florida.
