The 54-hole tournament is open to men 55 and over whose upper handicap is 24 and women 50 and over with an upper handicap of 32. The entry fee is $95 and the completed entry form should be mailed to the BGA, Box 433, Hamilton HM BX or delivered to the secretary's home.

Telephoned entries will not be accepted, however telephoned entries for the final match play competition round for 1991-92 at Mid Ocean on May 23 should reach the secretary at 238-1367 by 5 p.m. next Tuesday.

The Amstel Summer Golf League will commence its 1992 schedule on June 6, Division `A' playing at Belmont, Division `B' at St. George's. All clubs should have received or will receive the schedules and competition rules very shortly.

Meanwhile, the Bermuda Amateur Strokeplay Championships are set for Port Royal from June 12-15 -- women's June 13-15 -- and the cut-off date for entries is June 5.

Entry forms are available at all local golf clubs.

FISHINGM FSH The Opening Day Fishing Tournament scheduled for May 17, commencing with a fleet parade of boats from Albouy's Point has received the support of fifteen boats and over 50 anglers.

The parade will start at 7.30 a.m. led by Captain Alan DeSilva's Mario IV followed by Alligator, Atargatis, Happy Ours, Kingfisher, Playmate, Reba-M, Reel to Reel, Sandpiper, Serena, Tranquiliser, Treasure Isle, Wave Walker, Wa-Who and Wicket Woof.

Weigh-in stations for the tournament will be at Mangrove Bay Public Wharf in Somerset and Ordinance Island, St. George's, between 4.30 p.m. and 5.30 p.m.

SOCCER SOC Hamilton Parish players and those aspiring to join the club should attend a meeting at the club at 7 p.m. on Monday.
