National cricket coach Doug Ferguson will be conducting the following courses as part of the BCBC's continuing programme to qualify coaches at both school

Introductory Course -- to teach cricket skills to juniors (using Kwik Cricket equipment). The course will be held next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Saltus Gym from 3.30 to 5.30 p.m.

NCA Coaching Award Course -- starting next Tuesday and requiring three evenings a week for three weeks.

The course dates are June 9, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 23, 25 and 26. All the sessions will be at Saltus gym from 6.00 to 8.30 p.m.

All those who have registered for the NCA course are asked to contact the BCBC office at 292-8958 to confirm their availability.

BOXING BOX Bermuda's fight fans will be able to see Evander Holyfield defend his world heavyweight title against Larry Holmes -- thanks to Eddy DeMello.

DeMello has bought the rights for the championship bout, which takes place in Las Vegas on June 19.

Scandals Nightclub and the Dr. E.F. Gordon Memorial Hall on Union Street have been confirmed as venues for the screening, which will start at 9.30 p.m.

A top-quality fight card will lead up to the main event.

Tickets, priced at $35, are available at Music Box, Music Chamber, the BIU Theatre and the Charing Cross bar in Somerset.

TRIATHLON TRI The deadline for entering the Ironkids Triathlon is Saturday at 5 p.m.

Potential competitors should return entry forms to Gibbons Company.

The triathlon will be held on June 13 at the US Naval Air Station in St.

George's starting at 9.30 a.m.

Competition will be in two age groups -- seven to 10 and 11 to 14. There will be prizes, however, for every age, seven through 14.

GOLF GLF Ocean View equalled Village Room's record of three wins in a row when they won the inter-club tournament on Saturday after edging out Village Room by nine strokes.

A fine showing by Bailey's Bay placed them third in their first appearance in the event after a total of 272.

BASKETBALL BAS Those interested in playing for The Centre's women's team this summer are urged to attend a training session on Saturday morning at 11.00 at The Centre.
