Patton, the president of Bermuda Sailing Association, is one of a 68-boat fleet in a series which continues throughout this week at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club.

The first three finishers in the opening race were all Australians, Jan Scholten, Cameron Miles and Phil Dash.

Sailing in the yacht Bucephalus , Patton also enjoyed a 14th place out of 51 finishers in an invitation race on Sunday.
