Patton put on hold
Etchells World Championship in Australia, a lack of wind postponed yesterday's scheduled third race.
Bermuda's Tim Patton was among those anxious to make up for Sunday where 69 of the 78 strong fleet were disqualified for crossing the start line early.
But like the others, Patton will have to wait until the race is re-sailed tomorrow.
Craft sat almost motionless in Moreton Bay for hours before the race committee eventually signalled a postponement.
Meanwhile, other developments had provisional race two winner Eddie Warwick of Great Britain disqualified along with Australia's Stephen O'Rourke for infringing the port and starboard rule during an on-course collision.
This provided a `double-whammy' for O'Rourke who was already amongst those who had been deemed to have started prematurely.
Another Aussie, Jamie Wilmot, was ultimately declared the winner of the race, which had only eight legitimate finishers.
Currently leading the series is Geoff Davidson and his craft Upfront with Stuart Bishop ( Rub-A-Dub Dub ) second followed by Wilmot ( Grey Power ).
