Defending champion Kim Swan was a distant fourth behind the winner after finishing the 54-hole tournament on 216. Veteran Eardley Jones was fifth on 217.
The amateur winner was Hav Trott. Dave Purcell was second and Millard Beach third.
The net division was more keenly contested with three players finishing tied with on 137 after 36 holes to force a sudden-death play-off on the second hole.
Calvin Dill was the eventual winner after he parred the hole while Robert Coddington finished with a bogey and cricketer James Pace struggled with a double bogey.
The winner of the seniors' net division for the second straight year was George Burch with Bernard Stevens second. Kenny Bean was the gross winner and Bernie Daniels was second.
One of the highlights of the tournament was the introduction of an airline ticket to Jamaica in December to witness the World Golf Championships for anyone who scored a hole-in-one and the award, valued at $6,000, was captured by Bernard Daniels.
