Western Stars' youth team continued to enjoy the fruits of success as they strolled to their second straight triumph during their tour of Barbados.
The Bermuda side hammered St. Bernard's by 57 runs in a 30-overs contest that saw Stars tally 130 while batting first and then come back to dismiss their opponents for just 73.
Stars scored 30 runs from the first five overs. However the dismissal of opener and captain Jekon Edness for 15 began a slide that saw Dion Stovell (0), Gavin Manders (10) and much of the middle order collapse.
Instigators of the demise were St. Bernards' new ball duo of M.Thompson and M.Young.
Checking the slide was Treadwell Lee, who almost singlehandedly saved Stars with a masterful 58 containing five fours and three sixes.
Lee was aided in the recovery by Jaime Rayner who contributed 16.
The home side were dismissed for 73 in only 23.5 overs as Nikai Albuoy claimed two for 10 from three overs, while four other bowlers -- Kion Butterfield, Seion Darrell, Ranyer and Manders -- each claimed one scalp apiece.
