STOUT BROTHERS EXCELL AGAIN SQU Stout brothers excel again Brothers Michael and James Stout have helped establish England's Cheltenham College as the top rackets school in the country.
The Bermudian pair, who previously attended Saltus Grammar School, romped to victory in the Public Schools Rackets Tournament First Pairs Championship recently.
The win follows James' triumph in the singles championship at the end of last year.
The icing on the cake, however, came when the Mark Faber Cup -- given to the school which has the greatest success in doubles and singles events over the school year -- was awarded.
Out in front was Cheltenham College, who amassed 32 points, 10 more than their nearest rivals from that illustrious seat of learning, Eton.
Cheltenham headmaster Paul Chamberlain said he was delighted with the achievement.
"The boys owe a huge debt to their coach Mark Briers and the Master in charge, Karl Cook,'' he said. "We are also as a school very conscious of the enormous contribution made to the life of the school by our Bermudian boys and girls.
"The Stout brothers in particular have shown a dedication and ambition which have been an example to others in the school. We are looking forward to the arrival this September of their brother, Andrew.''
