Tennis pair head overseas
for this weekend's Georgia-Florida Open Tournament further down the coast.
Fourteen-year-olds Gavin Manders and Ryan Swan will spend three days training with Puerto Rico's Davis Cup player Stephen Diaz in Marietta before driving down to Valdosta on the Georgia-Florida border along with a group of youngsters from Diaz's training group.
The boys are staying with a host family in Marietta from Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association's previous exchange programme.
The tournament starts on Saturday and runs for one week. Manders and Swan will play in the under-14 singles and doubles.
Both youngsters have completed a portfolio on their sporting and academic achievements and are seeking a company sponsor to further their tennis careers. Further information can be obtained from Disa Potgieter-Manders, the BLTA Junior Development Officer at 238-2758.
