Tournament.

The tournament provides players who participated in the Cromwell Manders tournament earlier in the year with their first opportunity to achieve a 1998 official BLTA junior ranking.

A number of players will be attempting to consolidate their unofficial number one ranking. In the girls, Ashley Brooks is favoured amongst the 10-year-olds and Sasha Fisher in the 12-year-old age group.

Danielle Downey will be looking to consolidate her 14s and 18s wins at the prior tournament but will face stiff conpetition from Zarah DeSilva in the 14 age group and sisters Tara and Crystal Lambert in the older age group.

In the boys' 10s, Ryan Brining will likely be challenged by Nathan Swan in the 12s while Gavin Manders' absence to compete in an ITF Tournament in Aruba will leave the door open for his challengers.

In the 14s, Jovan Whitter will likely be challenged by John Wardman, Phillip Sousa and Sam Riihiluoma, while in the 18s and 16s the pair to beat will be Daniel Miller and Craig Bean.
