The young Bermudian travelled on the east coast circuit, which included horse shows in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and in Canada.

Terceira had a very successful summer training with George Morris, known as one of the world's best equestrian coaches. His riding establishment, Hunterdon Inc., is based in Pittstown, New Jersey.

Riding Chris Kappler's horse, Warrant, Terceira received various placings throughout the summer, including a championship in the Junior/amateur section at La Classique Internationale de Blainville in Quebec, Canada.

She also purchased a young prospect for future international competition, hoping together they will soon be at the grand prix level. She is looking forward to competing with her thoroughbred, March On, at the Winter Equestrian Festival in January in Bermuda and a series of horse shows from January through March in West Palm Beach and Tampa, Florida.

Terceira will be returning home at the end of this month from her studies at the International School of Merchandising and Design in Tampa Bay and will be competing in the Bermuda Classic to be held on November 27 and 28 at the Botanical Gardens.
