ROAD RUNNING RUN Mid Atlantic Athletic Club's popular Botanical Gardens' fun run will resume next week. Those interested in participating are reminded that the event will start at 6 p.m. sharp every Tuesday.

The course will be over two miles with an option to run four.

Mid Atlantic Athletic Club members are advised that their regular meetings have been changed to the second Wednesday in each month.

SOFTBALL SOF Wharf Tavern clinched the `A' Division title of the Commercial Softball League when they beat Cock and Feather 23-7 to sweep their opponents in three straight games in the best-of-five playoff championships.

A pair of three run homers by Lloyd Jenkins allowed Cock and Feather to remain one run shy of Wharf's tally of eight runs after five innings. However, Wharf plated 12 runs in the top of the sixth, including Mike Byrom's two run homer and Kathy Roberts' two run double en route to a comfortable win.

Dave Beagle of Wharf Tavern had a perfect four-for-four night, which included a home run, while Ralph DePalma had a homer, a triple and four RBIs in his three-for-five. Roberts was also outstanding at the plate going three-for-four. Lloyd Jenkins led the Cock and Feather batters with a perfect two-for-two which included two homers and six RBIs.

Byrom was the winning pitcher while Dennis Pamplin suffered the loss. Team Fashions lead their `D' Division series 2-0 against Skandia Sabres following their 18-4 win. They were led in the win by Gary Flood's perfect four-for-four, which contained a homer and three RBIs, while Allan Barker went three-for-four. Rob Eastham of Skandia went three-for-three in a losing cause as Chris Montgomery got the win and Eastham was tagged with the loss.

In the Monday's other match, Arthur Anderson beat the Snowballs 9-5 to lead their `C' Division playoff 2-0. Benji Williams went two-for-two, Marty Merritt three-for-four and Witold Bzdel three-for-three for Arthur Anderson while Blake Fizzard of the Snowballs went two-for-three.

Williams, Bzdel and Fizzard all had home runs while Merritt had three RBIs.

TABLE TENNIS TEN The final of the round robin between Hamilton Parish I and Bermuda College will be played tomorrow night at Hamilton Parish.
