they take part in the Commercial League All-Star Game tonight (7.00 p.m. BAA Field).

The teenagers were originally asked to attend a meeting at Saltus Hall tonight to talk over the training programme and the conditions for joining the squad with their parents and national staff coaches, Dennis Brown and Rasy Jones.

"However, the coaches have responded to a request for help from the organisers of the Commercial League All-Star game to be held on the same evening,'' said Bermuda Football Association's Jon Beard.

"The organisers were let down by opponents for the first game -- the "Golden Oldies'' team of previous top players. They turned to the staff coaches to ask them to provide suitable opposition.

"As one of the recipients of the proceeds of the game is the national youth programme, Brown and Jones felt that it was only right for the team to make such a contribution -- and it would allow them to see some of the players in action.'' The meeting will still go ahead at 5.30 p.m.
