Wright leads way in Laser series
on Sunday to finish first in a 10-boat Laser fleet competing in a seven race (one throwout) series.
Heading into the last race, Wright trailed Ted Wood by a quarter of a point, but he was able to recover from a poor start, climb back through the fleet and win the race, so wrapping up the series.
Craig Davis was the only other sailor to win a race as he finished third overall. Sara Lane Adderley and Marin Vezini tied on points with Adderley finishing fourth by virtue of a third place in the final race. Racing continues off Spanish Point on Sundays at 12.00 noon until December 10.
