Bermuda win closes gap
Bermuda's national cricket team closed the gap on their ICC Intercontinental Cup rivals following their win over Canada.
Gus Logie's side are now level on points with Canada and within touching distance of UAE and Scotland who they face at the National Sports Centre tomorrow.
A win could move Bermuda up to fifth place in the table.
The ICC's premier first class tournament started four years ago and is now an integral part of the Associate Members' schedule.
Having previously been designed around a two-group, three-day format, the event has evolved into an eight-team, round robin featuring four-day cricket, which gives those teams who do not play Test cricket the chance to experience the longer form of the game.
Scotland won the first ICC Intercontinental Cup in 2004, beating Canada in the final, while Ireland have been victorious in both events since then, beating Kenya in the 2005 decider and Canada in the 2006-07 event.
