Two late goals by Keimo Bean knocked the stuffing out of a spirited Rangers team which played well enough to come away with at least a share of the points from their Premier Division game at Southampton Oval yesterday.

Bean hit his first goal after 79 minutes and the second after 86 minutes while Mike Williams netted for Rangers after 85 minutes.

In a contest that failed to contain any great deal of enterprising and attacking explosiveness, for the longest period a scoreless draw seemed to be the inevitable result.

A lackluster opening half saw the Rangers create two chances with the first being a killer since Jahma Charles' fierce drive from 20 yards smashed off the goal post.

Rangers thought they finally broke the deadlock when Jermaine Dill headed home a Williams cross but the former was ruled to be offside.

After the break two penetrating moves down either flank ended up with goals, Bean scoring his first from a cross from Takeyhi Walker.

Like fighting Tigers Rangers hit right back and responded with substitute Travis Wilkinson missing a sitter just 30 seconds after coming on, putting his close-range shot over goal.

Then Mike Williams made amends when he teamed up with young substitute Reggie Lowe to get the deserved equaliser for Rangers after 85 minutes.

However with Rangers still bubling in delight by the late equaliser Bean was to have the last say as he came through with a timely shot to settle the issue for the visitors.
