St David's will begin the –defence of their 50 Overs league crown away at –Somerset in two week's time.

The Islanders face –Devonshire Rec the same weekend in back-to-back games on May 22 and 23.

Premier Division –newcomers Willow Cuts, who have added the talents of Bermuda trio Malachi Jones, George O'Brien and Chris –Douglas to their squad in the off-season, begin with games against PHC and Southampton Rangers.

The Under-19s meanwhile, who have replaced Police in the top flight, are due to begin their league season away at Southampton Rangers.

While the Belco Cup –semi-finals take place next –Saturday, the First Division will begin their league season.

Cleveland will take on –Somerset at Sea Breeze, while Western Stars will host –Warwick.

The other two sides in the division, Flatts and Social Club will have to wait another week to begin their seasons. Which means both clubs will play double-headers on May 22 and 23.

The Commercial Cricket League will get its new season under way tomorrow with one new team among the six –battling for honours.

Titans have replaced Ernst & Young, who have withdrawn after two seasons in the league after showing vast –improvement to reach last–season's Knockout and –Twenty20 League Cup finals.

Former Ernst & Young –players will provide the –backbone of the Titans, who will be skippered by Indian Arun Kikkeri, previously of Leg Trappers.

Titans face last season's League Cup winners Spring Garden Cavaliers at Shelly Bay.

Defending league –champions Forties take on –BC Allrounders at Warren –Simmons Community Field while last year's knockout –winners North Village meet Jamaican Association at –Garrison Field.

St. David's are missing from the seven teams who started last season's campaign, having withdrawn in the closing stages following a number of defaults.

The Memorial Trophy match between league and knockout winners ¿ Forties and Village ¿ which normally kicks off the season will be slotted into the schedule at a later date.
