Dancer Anna takes part in Closing Ceremony
Bermudian teenager Anna Clifford won't be competing in the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi but she will still find herself in the spotlight after being chosen to take part in the Closing Ceremony.
Nineteen-year-old Anna is in the second year of her BA Degree in Modern Ballet at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland.
And she and her classmates at the RSAMD will be among those promoting the next Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 as they participate in the colourful closing day festivities and the ceremonial Flag Handover.
Bootcamp rehearsals for the Scottish contingent have been a daily grind since September 20.
The young Bermudian told family and friends: "Bootcamp is going well, it's tiring but fun and I'll warn you right now, I don't think you will be able to see me in the mass of tartan and 352 people!"
Anna's late grandfather, Lloyd, as a 20-year-old competed in water polo at the first Games – known then as the British Empire Games – in 1930, held in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
