Deadline day for golfers
Today is the last chance for Bermuda's golfers to sign up for the Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
The deadline for entries to next weekend's tournament at Port Royal Golf Course is 12pm.
And there is a lot riding on the event for the Island's top amateurs, with places at the Dixie Amateur up for grabs for the individual male and female winners.
While the top three men will be awarded a place in the team to represent Bermuda at the World Amateur Team Championships to be played in Argentina in October.
There is even some incentive for the less talented players, with prizes being awarded in the Gross and Net catergories.
One thing is for certain however, there will be a new men's champion this year, with last year's champion Daniel Augustus having turned professional.
In his absence the likes of Dr. Robert Vallis, Jarryd Dillas, Nick Mansell, Camiko Smith will battle it out for top spot.
Defending women's champion Tariqah Walikraam will look to hold on to her title.
