Somerset Trojans v St. David's

Somerset let a golden chance to get back into the First Division title race slip through their fingers at home in midweek when they lost to West End rivals Eagles 1-0.

And it won't get any easier for the Trojans when they host fellow promotion hopefuls St. David's tomorrow, knowing another slip-up will all but end their hopes.

Having a game in hand is a bonus but maximum points will be the only priority in every match, starting tomorrow.

A duplicate of the reverse tie earlier in the season, a 0-0 draw at Lord's, won't benefit either side.

St. David's currently lie second in the table, having played a game more than all of their rivals, and need to keep up the pace in order to lock their name into the automatic promotion spot.

Their last outing was a dogfight, outlasting BAA 3-2 at Lord's and a repeat performance of that day will see them fall into the chasing pack.

Prediction: Draw

Somerset Eagles v

Young Men's Social Club

Eagles can put one foot into the Premier Division with three points against a struggling Young Men's Social Club.

Fresh off their win against Somerset on Wednesday night, they have gone three points clear of second placed St. David's and can add some distance between they and everyone else with a win.

With a game in hand, one promotion spot could be claimed with match days to spare.

The early front runners of the league, Social Club have been in a slump stretching for months, and shouldn't expect any gifts from the new league leaders.

Clay Darrell will need to hit top stride if they are to have any shot at even snatching a point.

Prediction: Eagles 3-0

Ireland Rangers v St. George's

Recent turmoil at the St. George's club has seen them have to play without skipper Allan Douglas jr., Jelani Carlington and Mackie Crane.

A win could put the East Enders back into second depending on what St. David's do against Trojans.

Rangers have nothing to really play for but the thought of playing spoiler to their opponents' promotion hopes could set up an interesting clash.

Boasting two of the league's leading goalscorers in their side, Rangers should prove a bit too much for a Colts side who will have their depth tested.

Prediction: Rangers 2-1

Wolves v Prospect

Prospect will look to recover from their midweek 1-0 defeat to St. George's in which a horrendous goalkeeping error gifted the winners their goal.

With neither team having much to play for, it could be time for some fringe players getting their chance.

Wolves will look to exact revenge after their first encounter, a 1-0 loss at Police Field.

Prediction: Prospect 2-1

BAA v X'Roads

Bottom-of-the-table BAA will look to get their third win of the season when they host X'Road's on their own field.

Having lost the first match 2-1 at Garrison Field in November, the Greens have the potential to upset their visitors, as Wolves and Paget both know.

Claiming more points this term than last shows that the side have progressed and with a little more concentration and application they could soon be a force in the First Division.

X'Roads are six points above their hosts and will not be in a generous mood, know that anything less than three points could see them slip another spot in the table.

With the season winding down, this could be a tricky one if their players feel there is nothing left to play for.

Prediction: X'Roads 3-2
