DeSilva and Fray head to Trinidad training camp

Promising young cricketers Terryn Fray and Jordan DeSilva are refinning their skills at the 2008 ICC Americas Academy in Trinidad.

The camp, which is held at the Sir Frank Worrell Development Cricket Centre until August 16, will see the pair undergo an intensive training programme including fielding, catching, throwing, net sessions, batting drills, palates and fitness training.

They will also take part in several 50 over matches.

Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) president Reggie Pearman said: "I would like to congratulate both Terryn and Jordan for their selection to the ICC Americas Cricket Academy.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for two of our most promising young players to receive first class coaching and to train with some of the best players from the Americas Region. I am confident they will make the most of this opportunity and learn a lot from the experience."

Pace bowler DeSilva recently starred for Somerset in Cup Match, picking up the prized wicket of St. George's Clay Smith in his final appearance in the classic.
