Flatts will be looking to defend the Lionel Mello Sixes trophy this weekend when the annual cricket tournament takes place on Saturday at St. David's Cricket Club.

The tournament, in honour of Bermuda batsman Lionel Cann's grandfather Lionel Mello, will feature seven teams in a round-robin format.

"The festivities are in memory of my grandfather," said Cann. "There will be seven teams with Flatts being the defending champions.

"The format is two groups with the top two in each group going to play in the semi-finals."

Each team will face five overs, with each team consisting of six players.

"The money will be given to two charities," added Cann. "We just want to end the season with a fun day."
