Fulham should give Bradley a chance

Even though the World Cup has only just finish the new football season in England is just around the corner, and there doesn't seem like the players will have any time to recover.

Spain were excellent in the tournament, and for them to win the World Cup after being losing their first game of the tournament says something in itself for their ability.

They are a different team compared to everyone else so they can get away with starting out like that.

Despite some of the football Spain played I don't think it goes down as the best World Cup ever, I have seen better, but that was how the script was written this time around

The Dutch can complain all the want about Howard Webb, but I think thee referee did the best job he could, it was a physical game, he had to give cards and if you think about it he could have sent off a few players in the first half.

Then if he would have done that, what would people have said about him, but he did the right thing and I thought he had a good game.

That though is all in the past, and now the Premier League is just around the corner. Who's going up, who's going down?

One club who I think might enjoy themselves this season are Liverpool. Bringing in Roy Hodgson as manager was a smart move, he has been a successful manager everywhere he has been, all you need to do is look at his track record.

Liverpool are an historic club, with a lot support, and I think they will do well with his investment and is general footballing know-how.

As for the club he left behind I think Fulham could do a lot worse than put US coach Bob Bradley in charge. Bring him in, and Fulham fans shouldn't have anything to worry about.

He has done a very good job with the United States and it doesn't matter what country you are from, if you can coach, you can coach. That's what a lot of people forget, I hope he goes there and proves a lot of people wrong and show that he can coach.

Arsenal could end up struggling this season, and the Cesc Fabregas saga well go a long way to dictating how they do this year. It is clear that Barcelona want him and he is a very good player and he can add strength to them.

Today, the game is all about money and the ones that have money will always boss those who don't have money around, but is up to the club on whether they want to do the deal or not. I understand how Arsenal feel, but at the end of the day if Barcelona come with the right package then they may have to give him up.

In terms of my boys, West Ham, I haven't heard too many things in the off-season.

I see we have signed one player from the Italian league and hopefully he can come in and make us a bit better then we were last year, but we need to bring in one or two more to add depth to the squad.

Our biggest problem is that we need to sign a player that can score 20-25 goals every year, and if we can do that then we can have a chance to make some sort of climb up the standings.

The big news this week though is Thierry Henry going to the New York Red Bull. Obviously it will set up a situation for others players to join him, but this has been going on for some time now.

When you look back, you see Pele and Franz Beckenbauer and everybody else done it, and it's happening again. When players from Europe feel that they can't do it anymore on the continent, the US can be the next step to their career.

This is a good thing for Henry, and I hope he goes over there and is successful.
