A Bermuda Under-16 Select XI snatched a late draw in their first game of the Schwan's USA Cup in Minnesota on Tuesday.
The Gombey Warriors fought back from a one-nil deficit and seemed to be heading for defeat until Troy Tucker equalised with six minutes remaining.
Bermuda, who are using the tournament as preparation for their upcoming Under 17 World Cup qualifiers, finished runner-up in a separate event – the Schwan's USA Cup Weekend.
En route to last Sunday's final they beat Norway's KFUM-S, the Texas Lightning Back, Albion CS as well as earning a draw against the Oakville Gunners.
The Gombey Warriors were due to face Futura Juventus yesterday.
Under-17s coach Mark Wade has remained on the Island, while his assistant coach Ray Jones and Bermuda technical director Derek Broadley have travelled with the team.
