Aaron Evans has confirmed his status as Bermuda's brightest track star by shattering another 800 metres national junior record at the Memphis Tiger Invitational.

The 19-year-old, who recently snatched a silver medal at the Carifta Games in St. Lucia, set the track alight while competing for the University of Memphis at the weekend with a time of one minute, 52.13 seconds.

Evans broke Bermuda's 800 metres national junior indoor record back in February with an impressive time of 1:50.18.
