Ravens 6 Swifts 2

Ravens took full advantage of some poor Swifts' defending to all but end the match as a contest in the first 15 minutes.

Megan Troake opened the scoring in the third minute and added her second soon after as she was left unmarked to slip the ball into the net.

Alex Wheatley then netted from a penalty corner from a direct shot at the top of the 'D'.

Lorendae Symonds got a goal back for Swifts but the two-goal margin was short-lived as Troake completed her hat-trick in the 18th minute.

Katie Masters added a fifth goal for Ravens in the 20th minute while Wheatley grabbed her second to take Ravens' tally to six.

Swifts scored again in the 63rd minute thanks to a field goal by Symonds.

Budgies 2 Canaries 2

Budgies surrendered a two-goal lead to Canaries as the teams shared the points in this Women's 'A' Division clash.

Amy Smith scored first for Budgies in the 25th minute before Keishea Robinson doubled the lead in the 31st.

But Canaries reduced the arrears three minutes later and the equaliser came in the 43rd minute.

Women's 'B' League

Cardinals 0 Bluebirds 3

Three goals in the second half were enough to give Bluebirds a comfortable win.

Bluebirds found the target two minutes into the second half, Deb Sagurs taking advantage of a short corner. Laura Bardgett then made it 2-0, deflecting a hard midfield pass from Kris Soares before passing two defenders and the keeper, to score.

The third goal came when centre forward Bardgett was up ended by the goalie in the circle but managed to pass the ball to Sarah Smith who slotted the ball into the empty net.
