Holder's strike spares Calamity Ray's blushes
PHC Zebras (1) 3

Boulevard Blazers (1) 2
M Gibbons 36, A Gibbons 87
Lloyd Holder's extra-time strike fired PHC Zebras into the final of the Friendship Trophy.
Holder rose highest in the 101st minute to power home a header and finally see off a determined Boulevard Blazers side at BAA Field last night.
It was nothing less than 10-man PHC deserved after dominating much of the semi-final, but the result will have come as some relief to Zebras goalkeeper Raymond Glasford who had a calamitous night he will want to forget in a hurry.
Twice PHC took the lead, and twice Glasford dropped a clanger to let Blazers back into a game that they had never really managed to take control of.
Glasford wasn't the only goalkeeper who had a torrid time, Blazers' JJ Andrew was equally culpable for at least one of Zebras' goals.
A mix up between Andrew and towering defender Hobte Burrows gave PHC the lead after just six minutes when a harmless ball into the box was headed home by the five-foot, five inch Cecoy Robinson.
Neither the goalkeeper, nor defender called for the ball and they could only watch as Robinson put his side ahead.
PHC controlled the game after that, but didn't take their chances and nearly paid for it when Blazers striker Melchisedec Gibbons found himself free in the box, only to completely mis-kick in front of an open goal.
If Gibbons' miss had been a gift, then Glasford's first mistake was several Christmases and birthdays rolled into one.
Ten minutes before the break a soft shot from Gibbons looped harmlessly towards the goal, only for Glasford to first catch, and then drop, the ball into an empty net.
The second half followed a similar pattern as the first, PHC created chances, and wasted them, until a fine cross from Keston Lewis was bundled in by Kevin Lambe.
That should have been that, but Glasford came for a late corner, fluffed his punch, and the ball was rammed home by Blazers' skipper Ajani Gibbons.
Ajani Gibbons had a fine night at the heart of the Blazers defence, twice clearing balls off the line .
But he might consider himself lucky to have only been booked for a nasty tackle on Robinson only moments before his equaliser. And deep into normal injury time, he was involved in an incident that saw PHC's Stevie Astwood sent off for aiming a headbutt at the Blazers' skipper.
Given all that had gone before, it would have been no surprise had Boulevard gone on and won.
PHC though managed to keep their heads, and despite Blazers piling forward in search of a third, held on to set up a meeting with Southampton Rangers.
