On Monday night Bermuda will be the focus of the World Fishing Network's (WFN) unique fishing show, Hookin' Up with Mariko Izumi.

WFN is carried on Cablevision channels 102 and in HD on channel 443.

Hookin' Up will air at 8.30 p.m. (Bermuda time) and will show Mariko participating in the Christmas Boat Parade which marked the end of the celebrations for Bermuda's 400th anniversary.

She goes fishing for tuna with Captain Sinclair and Mike Jones from Cablevision – and then cooks the catch at Blu Bar & Grill with chef Michele Celentano at the helm.

According to the Network, 'Hookin' Up with Mariko follows the world's sexiest angler as she travels the globe to meet the coolest people in the hottest fishing spots.'

This season the show adds an element of "reality" as Mariko takes on a series of fishing-related challenges in each location. Whether it is cooking with a world famous chef, partying at the wildest hotspot in town or fishing with some of the best anglers, her inviting style offers viewers a fun and fresh look at each destination.

Her 2010 travel dossier includes stops in Philadelphia, Seattle, Florida, New Jersey, Nashville, Michigan – and Bermuda.
