Mackie Crane and Lamont Brangman steered Devonshire Rec. to a comfortable seven-wicket victory over Leg Trappers as Police Field thanks to the pair's sterling bowling efforts, continuing the side's unbeaten run in all competitions.

Fielding first, Devonshire went about their duties in serious fashion, bowling their opponents out for a less then satisfactory 111.

Crane spearheaded the charge for the visitors, taking three wickets in four balls to signal his intent at the top of the Devonshire bowling attack.

Not to be outdone, Brangman quickly followed suit, ripping through the middle and late order.

In the end, Crane ended with four wickets for 31 runs while Brangman assisted with three wickets for 17 runs.

Michael Corday was Trappers high man, scoring 21 not out, while Stephen Drake score 20.

Victory was never an issue as Bremar (46) went about chasing down the total while Fredericks (29) steadied the other end.

Chris Foggo and Jeremy Fray saw Rec home with plenty of overs to spare.

Ryan Shepherd led from the front as Willow Cuts held off hosts Western Stars at St. John's Field, winning by 25 runs.

Batting first, the visitors were led by opener Shepherd was the top scorer with 52, while Raymond Butterfield had the best figures for Stars, taking three wickets for 36 runs.

In reply Treadwell Gibbons (38) and Brian Hall (34) tried their best to reach the required total, but were left helpless as their side were dismissed for 152.

Shepherd led the Cuts attack with figures of four for 33.

Warwick Workmen's 75

Somerset Bridge continued Warwick's dreadful start to the season, dispatching their opponents by a massive 189 runs at White Hill Field, with Warwick only managing to field eight players.

Cofield Robinson scored 83 runs for Bridge as they reached a commendable total of 264.

Jamie Darrell did the burden of the damage Warwick, leading their attack as he took four wickets for 48 runs.

In reply, Warwick was bowled out for 75, with Alton Burgess top scoring with 24. Noel Woods had bowling figures of two for 16 to lead Somerset Bridge's attack.
