Moore names squad for UAE
Bermuda national team coach David Moore has named a 17-man for the Island's upcoming Intercontinental Shield match with the UAE.
Moore said the squad would be trimmed prior the next Monday's match with those players left out able to represent their domestic clubs this weekend.
"The squad that has been selected is larger than usual, but this is to accommodate for the competition among the fast bowlers and the fact that some of the bowlers are returning from injury," he said.
"I am expecting continued improvement from the group and I am looking for a very good performance from all players that make the final team.
"The squad will be trimmed and those players that don't make the final squad will be available for their Clubs this weekend."
Bermuda national team squad: David Hemp (captain), Stephen Outerbridge (Vice Captain), Chris Foggo, Fiqre Crockwell, Irving Romaine, Shannon Rayner, Terryn Fray, Jekon Edness, Rodney Trott, Joshua Gilbert, Tamauri Tucker, Stefan Kelly, Jordan DeSilva, Kevin Tucker, Jim West, Stephan Dill, Justin Pitcher
Bermuda take on the UAE in a four-day Intercontinental Shield starting on Monday at the National Sports Centre.
They also play two 50-over matches and a Twenty20 game later next month.
