Yesterday's Cabinet shake-up saw a number of new portfolios introduced – but surprisingly there was no room for Sport.

It's believed to be first time that a Government have operated without a Sports Ministry, although it was unclear last night whether previous Sports Minister Glenn Blakeney would be responsible for that department.

Mr. Blakeney will take over the newly created Ministry of Youth Affairs and Families.
