I'm back in Baltimore after a trip to Bermuda dealing with some ISL/ Hope4Life business.

In 2010 we look to make a greater impact on the Island with both programmes.

While I was in Bermuda I had the joy of watching the knockout finals for the schools at the National Sports Centre, it was great to see the talent of both girls and boys.

I want to say congratulations to all the young players that took part in entertaining us last Saturday. I really do hope many of you would be out to support the school All-Star game this week.

I want to bring you up to date with all that is going on with the Baltimore Blast, Legends of Sports Inside and Out and ISL/Hope4life.

As my team looks to prepare for Monterrey Mexico next week, we know we have a battle on our hands, as they are a very tough team to beat on their home field.

Their fans support with great passion which plays a big part in their players mindset, this puts a deep sense of pride in them and will to win every time they step on the field. Monterrey has always had talented players and are a good counter-attacking team, this makes them very difficult to overcome on their home field so limiting our mistakes will be the key for the whole game

Many of you have been asking about Logan Alexander and his progress with the Baltimore Blast. Well, Logan is doing really well and has adapted to the game and is developing every day.

His consistency that got him a contract is still there, he has developed a good relationship with the players and has made a good impression on the club.

Logan has been very patient the past few weeks due to his players visa papers not being approved through immigration yet.

This is a trying time for him because every player wants not only to sign a contract but also be in a position to step on the field. Logan's situation is one that we have no control over.

The visa process takes a little while but when it arrives and he is able to step on the field I'm sure he would be ready for his duty. Staying focused is his key at this time.

Legends of sports Inside and Out Champions4Champions is a group that I was inducted in last June. It's a group of Legends from NBA, NFL and many other great sports that travel around world talking to young people and spreading a positive message.

They do a talk blog radio show that reaches 3.5 million listeners every Saturday morning.

The next stop will see us heading to the Super Bowl in Miami to visit schools, interview NFL players and continue to bring awareness to fans about all the community programmes the legends are part of.

This will be one of the legends major events along with the NBA All-Star weekend, as greats like Sam Jones, Ed "too Tall" Jones and many others will attract many of the stars at this event.

In April we will be in Fort Hood Texas where the tragic shootings occurred five weeks ago that left 13 US troops dead, we have been ask to come and provide basketball and soccer clinics for the families there in aim to help strengthen their community

Also in April we will be in Bermuda with S.K.Y, one of Hope4Lifes affiliated group. They will be putting on a basketball event which will be entertaining to our young people and one that gives Bermuda's talented players a chance to develop hope and encourage them to move forward.

In July the legends will be back in Bermuda for the Hope4Life All-Star weekend with the Island Soccer League.

In September we will be travelling to Miami as we have been asked to put on a soccer weekend for the Haitian Community.

This event will see soccer professional all over the US playing against the Haitian national team who will have an opportunity to get scouted by professional clubs. We have been asked to help structure this event, as they want to give the national players exposure to the USA professional coaches.

This is an event that I will be looking to have a couple of young players from Bermuda play a part in.

This event would be great experience for them, as they would be playing alongside the pro players, local players and a chance to get scouted as well.

As for the Hope4Life/ISL we are getting ready for a press conference in January/February where we will be announcing our progress and providing updates.

The Hope4Life website will be releasing news of some new and important groups that have come onboard with hope4life as we move towards stage three in the programme.

Until next time!
