First half goals by Harry Wolffe and Chris Chapman were enough to see the Panthers hand the Polecats their first loss of the season.

Wolffe's opener came in the seventh minute from a penalty corner and Chapman scored from a field goal in the 20th minute to give their side a lead they wouldn't relinquish.

While Polecats' defeat was their first in the current campaign, they remain top of the league, seven points ahead of Chameleons.

Upstarts 1 Chameleons 1

Chameleons missed a golden opportunity to close the gap on Polecats but could only manage a draw with the Upstarts.

Chameleons were awarded 12 penalty corners were unable to convert any of them and found themselves down when Phil Trussell scored for Upstarts in the 23rd mintue.

Chameleons grabbed a point when Troy Fansworth hit an equaliser in the 35th minute.

Women's 'A' League

Canaries 1 Wildcats 0

Canaries scored the only goal of the game in the 32nd minute, thanks to a Mary-Ellen Jackson shot to grab all three points and take over sole possession of second place.

The teams were joint second going into the game with only five points now separating the top three clubs.

Swifts 0 Ravens 7

Undefeated league leaders Ravens ran away to a comfortable victory over Swifts with a hat-trick from Jessica McClure leading the rout.

Georgia Harris chipped in with a brace.

Madeline Fox opened the scoring for the champions in the eighth minute, tapping in from close range.

Another junior member of the squad, Harris, got her first of the game in the 15th before McClure got her first in the 17th.

Taryn Pringle netted her 11th goal of the season in the 25th minute and McClure snatched her second in the 41st.

Harris completed her double in the 49th and McClure rounded off her treble in the 55th to seal an emphatic victory.

The score might have been more convincing with Swifts goalkeeper Cherise Lemaire and defender Toni Fray making some fine goal-line saves.

Women's 'B' League

Swallows 4 Longtail/Canaries 0

Erin Gillespie double guided Swallows to an easy win.

Gillespie opened the scoring in the second minute and Swallows never looked back.

But it wasn't until the second half that the game got away from the Longtail/Canaries with Gemma Rowe grabbing her team's second in the 46th minute.

Amber Wilson netted the third in the 64th before Gillespie finished what she started in the dying mintues to complete the 4-0 win.

Ravens 3 Canaries 0

Georgia Harris added to her brace in the 'A' division as she grabbed a goal in Ravens' 3-0 win.

Harris scored in the 21st minute before Monique McLaren made it 2-0 in the 34th.

Jessica Hollis scored a penalty corner in the 52nd minute to ensure their undefeated season continued.

Swifts 0 Bluebirds 0

In a match that could have swung either way, it was Swifts who enjoyed the majority of possession, winning six penalty corners.

But they were unable to find a way past the Bluebirds defence led by their captain Kris Soares and goalkeeper Carla Pedro.
