Premier dreams for Zeiko and Tre

Bermuda starlets Zeiko Lewis and Tre Ming have the chance of winning a move to the Premier League with the deadly duo set for trials at Fulham FC.

Lewis and Ming, both 15, have been recommended to the London club by Bermuda technical director Derek Broadley and will spend a week in October training at their youth academy.

Neither player can sign scholarship terms until they turn 16, but Broadley is confident they both have the talent to follow in the slipstream of Clyde Best and Shaun Goater.

"I've had a conversation with Dave Burke who is head of recruitment at Fulham and he has verbally invited both boys over for training in October," said Broadley.

"It's not so much a trial because these days whenever you play people are looking at you. But if they impress I'm sure Fulham will talk to them about doing something in the future.

"Ideally they will go over there do well and get invited back a couple of times."

Former Crystal Palace academy director Broadley has strong ties with Fulham and took the senior national team to the club's training ground for a week-long workout earlier this year.

He believes Lewis and Ming, who both represent Bermuda Under-17s, are the cream of the crop in terms of young talent on the Island and will blossom from living and training with quality overseas players.

"Zeiko plays as a striker in the hole, whereas Tre is a good central midfield player," Broadley said.

"From my experience I believe they are both good enough to play at that level.

"Fulham's facilities are fantastic and they play in the best league in the world."
