St. George's Colts 2
A spirited second-half fightback saw visiting St. George's claw their way back against St. David's at Lord's yesterday to earn a point.
The teams entered the day in first and second place, Colts leading the way with St. David's in hot pursuit.
A good crowd turned out to witness the East End derby and for a while it looked as though the home side would emerge victorious after holding a comfortable 2-0 edge after the first half.
Colts threw new life into their recovery bid when they made it 2-1 after 60 minutes but they received a huge setback minutes later when Jade Foggo was sent off by referee Dave Martin for kicking the ball away for the second time in the game.
Reduced to 10 men the Colts gave little away before the stage was set for substitute Detroy Smith to snatch the equaliser four minutes from regular time.
The home side held an advantage in the earlier half with Dominique Lambert responsible for both goals, scoring the first after 31 minutes and the second after 38 minutes.
Colts though remained competitive and had striker Allan Douglas Jr. been more accurate they would have been deadlocked at the break.
St. David's held a decisive edge for a while but when Jeremy Hayward scored for Colts after 60 minutes they came into the game with momentum.
Detroy Smith finally got Colts goal they deserved for their hard work but there was still sufficient time for the home side to snatch maximum points. However poor finishing by Cannonier let them down.

The middle of the table clash proved to be scrappy with both teams guilty of a series of misdirected passes from defence to their front line.
Quincy Paynter opened the scoring for the visitors after just two minutes but Najee Woods drew United level with a goal after 18 minutes. But Social were to re-establish their one-goal lead eight minutes later when Paynter found the goal for a second time _ a lead they held until the interval.
United found their touch in the second and their fight and determined paid great dividends.
They levelled the scores after 48 minutes through Jacoby Darrell before DeForrest Evans put United ahead 3-2 with a goal after 51 minutes.
What turned out to be the goal that sewed things up for United came from Darrell with seven minutes left in the rather lackluster contest.
BAA 1 Ireland Rangers 1
Hosts BAA came from behind to grab a point off visiting Ireland Rangers at BAA Field yesterday.
McLee Smith, still mourning the recent death of elder brother Jamal, gave Rangers a dream start when he fired home a low shot past 'keeper Ian Friedman midway through the opening stanza.
But Rangers' hopes of coming away with maximum points were dashed on 75 minutes when former St.David's player, Antoine Lugo, lobbed 'keeper Nathan Darrell to add parity to the final scoreline.
Elswhere yesterday, Paget overpowered X Roads 3-1 at White Hill Field.
