Two of the Island's top amateur golfers, Laura Robinson and Jarryd Dillas (pictured above), combined to take the gross title at the Bermuda Mixed Foursomes Championships at Tucker's Point GC over the weekend.

Robinson and Dillas carded a two-under par 68 on Sunday in the Pinehurst format, having fired a one-over 71 in Best Ball the day before.

They finished with a 139 total, just one stroke ahead of second-placed Katrin Burnie and Damien Palanyandi who finished at even par with rounds of 70-70 (140).

Net winners were Tracey Nash and Derek Holland followed by Cindy Hardart and Nicholas Mansell.

The tournament format saw Best Ball on the Saturday and Pinehurst on Sunday, in which both players tee off and then play each other's second shot.

Once the second shot has been played the team decide which ball to play out and then play alternate shots until the ball is holed.
