Smith goes close for Revolution

Khano Smith struck the post with a venomous drive in New England Revolution's 1-0 win over Houston Dynamo at the Gillette Stadium on Saturday.
Serbian forward Ilija Stolica scored his first career MLS goal on his debut midway through the second half. Bermuda international Smith came off after 84 minutes.
The Revolution are now unbeaten in eight games in all competitions. They visit Chicago Fire on Wednesday.

Clarke Carlisle salvaged a point for 10-man Burnley as a dramatic header denied Ipswich victory in added time.
David Norris had given the hosts the lead after 84 minutes.
