Soccer fun for females
females and their families to join in what will be a celebration of women's soccer.
While many turned out for the initial training session last Saturday, more are invited to sign up in order to make this Saturday's main event even larger.
There will be another training session on Saturday (Gymnasium Field, Prospect, 8.30 a.m.) in advance of the evening activities that begin at 5.30 with an Under-10 match, followed by an Under-15 fixture at 6.35, and the Konica Cup final featuring Rude Girls and Royals at 8.15.
Registration forms are available at Bermuda Football Association (295-2199) and can be returned via fax (295-0773) or e-mail (bfa ynorthrock.bm).
CARIFTA COUNTDOWN ATH Carifta countdown Bermuda's Carifta Games athletes will get chance to test themselves against a visiting team from New York at the weekend.
The Games squad will compete against NCAA Division Three school, Oneonta, at the National Sports Centre on Saturday.
The track and field meet is also a Tri-Series event and registration takes place at 12.00 p.m. A fee of $3 is payable.
The Carifta team depart Bermuda for Bridgetown, Barbados on April 11.
