Dear Sir,I wish to express my sincere thanks to the Affiliates of the Bermuda Football Association for the time since 2001 that they allowed me to serve as the President of the BFA. It has been a huge pleasure for me to work for the Affiliates before I was the President and then also as President. The Affiliates do magnificent work in the community for football and other sports and recreation. They are the golden thread that runs through the social fabric of Bermuda and they do wonderful work. I will continue to advocate that they deserve the support of the Government and corporate sectors for all that they do.I must extend my sincere thanks to the BFA Staff that I worked with for several years. - David Sabir, Candy Ford, Teresa Maito, Kenny Thompson and Vance Brown. They were there when we had very little resources and I commend their spirit for supporting my work and vision. I will always appreciate their stellar work and loyalty. Since we received the Government Grant of $15 million we were joined by new staff - Ian Rawlins, Janet Carew and Derek Broadley. I have enjoyed my time working with them and I wish them all the best.

Dear Sir,

I wish to express my sincere thanks to the Affiliates of the Bermuda Football Association for the time since 2001 that they allowed me to serve as the President of the BFA. It has been a huge pleasure for me to work for the Affiliates before I was the President and then also as President. The Affiliates do magnificent work in the community for football and other sports and recreation. They are the golden thread that runs through the social fabric of Bermuda and they do wonderful work. I will continue to advocate that they deserve the support of the Government and corporate sectors for all that they do.

I must extend my sincere thanks to the BFA Staff that I worked with for several years.

I express my thanks to the Executive Council Officers and members who supported me over the years. They were a pleasure to work with and we were able to accomplish many things for football when we worked together. I extend best wishes to President Calderon and the new Executive and I look forward to all the programmes and development.

I also express my thanks to the Government of Bermuda and to the corporate sector which supported football over the years. The BFA is a story that deserves to be told organizing over 3 million hours of football activity on an annual basis. The $3 million grant per year for 5 years (up from $180,000 per year when I became President) is a credit to the Cabinet, the Government and by extension to the people of Bermuda. Additionally, the financial support from the corporate sector when there were only meager funds was vital to keep the Association alive. I thank those organizations for your support.

My sincere thanks and appreciation go to the coaches and players, as well as the referees, at every level – domestic and national. You bring pride to your clubs and country and you bring enjoyment to the community. I have had the honour of presenting trophies and medals to you and I have seen and shared your joys and disappointments. May football continue to be a positive role in your lives. Please remember, its not about "Town and Country" – it's really about "One Bermuda".

Finally, I express my thanks to the club fans and people of Bermuda. You make the game fantastic. You are the best!!! I thank you.

I now move on to concentrate on my role as Chairman of the FIFA Appeals Committee, as on Saturday I head to Brasil for two weeks to officiate at a FIFA tournament in Rio de Janeiro. It will be my pleasure to represent Bermuda and football at the highest levels abroad.

Regards,

Larry Mussenden
