Two goals from Otis Minors helped St.David's thrash BAA in the First Division last night at BAA Field.

The East Enders took the lead through Dejuan Paynter before Minors scored his first to give his team a two-goal cushion at half-time. After the break St.David's continued the rout with BAA's Joshua Dawson scoring an own-goal in spectacular fashion.

Substitute Dominque Lambert then opened his account with a fine virtuoso strike, moments before BAA's Shane Morrisey was red carded for a bizarre handball in the centre circle. In the final minutes, Minors raced through the BAA defence to score his second of the night.

The win lifts St.David's above Robin Hood on goal difference at the top of the First Division table.

MR Onions 2 Paget 1

In-form MR Onions survived a scare against bottom club Paget Lions last night at BAA Field.

Paget went into the interval leading thanks to an own-goal from Onions' Gregory Simons.

But Onions, who hammered Young Men's Social Club 5-0 last week, struck back through striker Kevin Ronaldson and Michael Ward in the second period to secure the three points.

Despite the win, Onions remain in fourth position in the First Division standings, level on points with unbeaten St,George's who have a game in hand.
