Sub Khano sees Revs lose again
New England Revolution crashed out of the US Open Cup with their sixth successive defeat after suffering a 3-0 loss at New York Red Bulls.
Veteran forward John Wolyniec scored twice and Sinisa Ubiparipovic netted Red Bulls' other goal on Wednesday night.
Bermuda's Khano Smith came on as a second-half substitute after 60 minutes to face his former team.
The injury-riddled Revs travelled with just 14 players for the match – including a pair of goalkeepers – leaving just two outfield players (Sainey Nyassi and Smith) as available substitutes.
Revolution return to league action tomorrow when they host San Jose Earthquakes.

For the first time the First Division will get their own separate awards.
Town manager Leroy (Curly Joe) Wilson is among the favourites to take the Coach of the Year award, while Nahki Wells is in the running to take the Most Valuable Player award.
Wells' team-mates Jared Peniston and Treadwell Gibbons have been nominated for Defensive Player of the Year, and Goalkeeper of the Year respectively, while Jamal Swan is on the Young Player of the Year shortlist.
In all there will be nine separate categories of awards handed out, with Premier Division, First Division, and the women's teams battling it out for MVP, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year honours.
There will also leading goalscorers awards, Fair Play team awards and awards for referees and most improved referee.
