BAA who took the spoils and headed into the semi-finals of the inaugural Bistro Cup with victory over Valley FC in the quarter-finals at BAA Field on Saturday.

BAA opened the scoring on ten minutes when Neal Churchill cut back from the by-line for the supporting Martin Jones to slam past the keeper.

Roles were reversed on 25 minutes when good work from Oliver Labbett in midfield saw the ball fed to Jones who crossed for Churchill to hammer home for his team's second.

All hope for Valley FC was extinguished on 70 minutes when man of the match, Oliver Labbett, won a fine tackle in midfield and played the ball into Jones to sweep in his second.

BAA will meet Vasco in the semi-finals.

Tuff Dogs 3

Tuff Dogs tasted defeat for the first time this term as they were sent crashing out in the quarter-finals at the hands of Vasco. Goals from Rui Furtado, Qunicy Aberdeen, Stephen Telleman and a penalty from Joe Barbosa paced Vasco to the win.

Dogs got their goals from Robbie Almeida, Ryan Gaglio, and a spot kick from Robert Marques.

West End United 6

MR Onions 2

Eugene Simmons scored a hat-trick as West End United romped to a comfortable win over MR Onions to set up a meeting with Robin Hood in the last four.

Simmons led from the front, while goal-a-game Frances Desilva added to his heavy tally this season with two more.

Matthew Carvelho also scored a rocket of a goal. Onions took an early lead when Desmond Thomas broke through a high West End back-line before beating the keeper.

Onions' Gordon Paterson finally got a deserved goal when he picked the ball up from outside the box and hit a perfect shot that sunk under the bar.

West End broke down the park and killed the game off with their fourth goal.

Robin Hood 1

Lobster Pot 0

Ryan Matcham scored the lone goal in a tense quarter-final battle that saw Robin Hood run out winners over Lobster Pot.

Matcham's goal was a gem, with the winger delicately chipping the Pot 'keeper to send his side through to the semi-final.
