Bermuda's Under-13s upset the hosts by two wickets in the St.Kitts and Nevis Cricket Festival at Warner Park yesterday.
St. Kitts, who won the toss and batted first, scoring 143-8 in 25 overs with Le Tanio Ferdinand (57) scoring the first half-century of the tournament.
Opening batsman Alexi Bedford (29) and captain Tristan Hanley (21) chipped in runs for the home side.
Bermuda's Cejay Outerbridge led the way with bowling figures of three for 23.
In reply Bermuda pulled out a nerve shredding win with just three balls to spare to squeak home by two wickets.
Bermuda reached 144-8 in 24.3 overs with William White top scoring with 32, followed by captain Kamau Leverock (23) and Keshun Smith (19).
Ferdinand, who took three for 23 and Omar Francis, who claimed three wickets for 25 runs, led St. Kitts' bowling attack.
Man-of-the-match awards went to William White of Bermuda and Le Tanio Ferdinand of St. Kitts.
Bermuda 's next clash will be against Dominica in the second round, while St Kitts will travel to Nevis for their next game of the tournament.
