Valley FC 2

Four goals from Rui Furtado and a brace from Ricardo Arruda were enough to give Vasco safe passage into the next round of the Bistro Cup.

Similar to last week's game between the two teams, Vasco made a slow start to the match and took time to settle.

It was left to Furtado, who's pace and trickery caused havoc for the Valley defence to get his side up 2-1 at the break with his first two, while Kevin Isaac grabbed one for Valley.

In the second half, Furtado added two more, before substitute Ricardo Arruda grabbed his two to cap off a comfortable display.

Gladwin Hill scored Valley's second goal.

Vasco now take on MR Onions.

BAA 1

West End United 4

Champions West End United made a successful start to their Bistro Cup defence with a win over BAA.

An own goal, coupled with goals from Matthew Carvelho, Frances Desilva jr. and Paul Maybury guided the side to the win. Damien Mondonza struck BAA's lone goal.

Lock 'N' Key are up next for the champions in the quarter-finals.

St. David's 1

Lobster Pot 0

A wonder strike from Loren Marshall was enough to earn St. David's a well-deserved win over Lobster Pot.

Marshall's 25-yard strike midway through the second half left Pot goalkeeper Brian Ward with no chance as the ball rocketed into the net to settle what was a back and forth match.

The win, St. David's first of the season, will see the side now take on Tuff Dogs in the next round.

Robin Hood 4

Team Fire 1

Robin Hood got four goals from four different players as they saw off a spirited Fire side.

Richard Caisey, John Paul Doughty, Nick Ingham and Jhonny Neascu all struck for Hood in the win, while Irving Burgess got the Fire goal.
