Women's League
With the `A' league title already secure, Swallows took the opportunity to allow some new players to show what they could do, dominating this match from the outset.
Cardinals defended well to keep the score down to 1-0 in the first half, Jenny Burrell scoring off a short corner. However, it was a different story in the second half as Swallows stepped up the pace.
Captain Liz Osborne, who continually caused Cardinals problems in midfield and defence, netted a hat-trick and Shelley Clement rounded offthe scoring.
Swallows now have the opportunity to represent Bermuda at the Caribbean Club Championships in November which are being held in Barbados, where they will compete against league winners from other countries.
Swallows B 0 Cardinals B 0 Having wrapped up the `B' league for the second year running last week, Cardinals started out the stronger of the two teams and were soon applying pressure with some fine work from forwards Iesha Castle and Lakae Dill.
But Swallows' defence held firm and broke down any chances Cardinals created, the trio of Trish Duncan, Diane Moore and Nicola Wilkinson impressing throughout. Swallows picked up the pace in the second half but couldn't find a way past Cardinals' keeper Vicky Johnson.
A change of goalkeeper for Swallows in the second period saw Sam Adams don the pads and she performed well, making some crucial saves including a goal-bound effort from Candy Foggo.
Men's Cup Tournament Upstarts 2 Rebels 0 Inspired by their previous week's win, Upstarts took to the field brimming with confidence.
And their enthusiasm was rewarded when they took the lead early on in the first half with a Neil Carroll goal which was deflected in after a great cross into the circle by John Daly.
Upstarts continued to play attacking hockey and increased their lead just before half time when Carroll hit a bullet of a shot from the edge of the circle after a well-worked short corner routine.
With the win, Upstarts make their first appearance in the final when they take on Chameleons, who won their semi-final against Police.
