Bermuda breeze past Bahamas

Bermuda crushed Bahamas in the Caribbean last night to all but secure their safe passage to the next phase of the World Cup qualifiers
The Gombey Warriors breezed to victory in the first of their two leg series with Chikosi Basden scoring twice before half-time to give the visitors a 2-1 cushion at half-time.
After the break Bermuda turned the screw with Tre Ming, Jair Minors and Zeiko Lewis all finding the net to earn Devarr Boyles' side an emphatic victory on foreign soil.
Although Boyles was delighted with the scoreline he said there was still plenty of room for improvement and was looking for a better showing from his team in tomorrow's second leg.
"Obviously we did a lot of things right because we scored five times," said Boyles.
"But we still showed naivety at times and although I'm delighted with the scoreline I'm not delighted with the performance.
"We're in a very good position to advance to the next stage now but I still think the first goal of the next game will be crucial.
"Our finishing was good tonight and that was pleasing but we were still guilty of making the same mistakes over and over again."
