Alexander set for Blast debut
Logan Alexander could be in line for his professional debut in Baltimore Blast's opening match of the National Indoor Soccer League (NISL) season tonight against Rockford Rampage.
Bermuda international Alexander signed for Blast earlier this month after impressing the club's coaches during a lengthy trial.
Blast take on Rampage tonight at the 1st Mariner Arena at 8.35 p.m. (Bermuda time).
n Khano Smith will be hoping for a start in Lincoln City's League Two match at home to Cheltenham Town tomorrow.
Smith was an unused substitute in City's 3-1 win over AFC Telford in the FA Cup first round last weekend.
U-15s beaten in opening tour game
Bermuda Under-15s went down 3-1 to Shultz Academy in the opening match of their tour of Florida.
Chikosi Basden scored Bermuda's goal against the SuperYLeague finalists in Tuesday's game.
Coach Devarr Boyles said: "It was a good test for us. This game will help to bring our football forward. We played three 25-minute periods with a goal scored by the opposition in each period. The score was 2 -1 until they scored in the final five minutes."
The Islanders are scheduled to play IMG Academy tonight before facing Shultz again tomorrow.
Reggie sees red in reserve clash
Reggie Lambe missed out on a chance to impress Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane after being sent off during a reserve team match for stamping on an opponent.
Keane was watching from the Portman Road stands as the Bermuda international saw red after half an hour in Town's cup game against Haverhill Rovers on Tuesday night.
The Tractor Boys won the match 4-0 with two goals apiece from Caolan Lavery and Billy Clark.
