Bermuda will compete in Group IV in the Americas Zone of the Davis Cup again next year after failing to beat Haiti in their last match in Honduras.
Going into the final game of the round robin tournament Bermuda knew that a win would see them promoted to Group III, in the end they fell just short, losing to Haiti 2-0 on Saturday.
Jean Marc Bazanne 6-2, 6-4, beat Jensen Bascome in straight sets and Gavin Manders lost to Olivier Sajous 6-3, 6-2.
The doubles game between Bascome and Manders and Ronald Agenor and Sajous wasn't played because the tie had already been decided.
