Bermuda international Tyrell Burgess is currently having trials at US professional team, Rochester Rhinos.

Burgess, who was released by Vancouver Whitecaps last season, is one of 17 trialists hoping to win a contract with the USSF D2 Pro League outfit.

Last month Burgess had try-outs at fellow USSF D2 side Tampa Bay Rowdies.

The USSF Division 2 Pro League is a temporary league created by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) in 2010 to last just one season.

The 12-team league was formed as a compromise between the feuding United Soccer Leagues (USL) and the North American Soccer League (NASL).

The D2 Pro League will form the second tier of the American and Canadian soccer pyramids below Major League Soccer.
